I'm from San Francisco, Ca. In 2005 I decided to give salsa a try without any goals or expectations. One thing led to another and before I knew it, I was out there performing within my first four months. I've been dancing, performing and competing ever since. Over the years I've learned salsa is more than a dance. It's a life style and I love it. You get from it what you put into it.
I've been a member of CDA since 2010. What attracted me to CDA is the style and flavor they bring. We train hard year round, never just focusing on learning routines only, but giving you the understanding of what each movement means. One of the goals of Luis is to put great dancers not only on stage but also on the dance floor. My skill level and technique has greatly improved since joining the company a year ago. For me it's been a perfect fit.
